As an avid fan of Sherlock Holmes, and many detective books and television shows, he decided to combine his love for that genre with his knowledge of The Beatles. The first in a series of crime novels, “Inspector Rocke: That’ll Be The Day That I Die” was published in 2017, with a further 5 novels already planned. Each one is set in Liverpool in the early 1960s, and features an important date or event in Beatles history, with the Beatles themselves helping the fictional Inspector Rocke to solve the murders.
